The Legal Process of Cremation

We are funeral professionals serving the pet community.

If you would like us to handle the arrangements for YOUR pet, you will have to ask for us BY NAME when you are at your Vet.  We would recommend you call us in person or do a pre-arrangement.

Note: Who to ask for? Pet Cremation Services of Tidewater

Unfortunately, if you don't call us or tell them to call us, the some area vets will not know you want a local pet funeral service to handle things and they might send your pets remains up to 3 or 4 hours away to be cremated.  (example, Raleigh, NC area...)  Our cremations our performed in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Rule #1:  BE WELL INFORMED.  This is a tough time and a major decision.  We handle the pet cremations for Martins Point and Outer Banks Veterinary Clinic only.  All other animal hospitals send pets over four hours away to be cremated.

Rule #2:  THE DECISION IS YOURS.  Your pet is a member of YOUR family, whether you are home or at your Vet, you have the right to have any funeral service handle the arrangements, whether it be US or somebody else.

Rule #3:  ASK QUESTIONS.  Call us or e-mail us, ask your vet the tough qustions, even ask US the tough questions.  Where is the crematory, will the pets be cremated individually, can I get a custom urn????  These are the things you need to know about a professional funeral service.

Rule #4:  WHEN IN DOUBT, CALL US.  Whether you use our company or not, we will be glad to explain the regulations regarding the pet funeral business and the legal care of pets.  We take this very seriously because we are dealing with peoples' loved ones.  We're here to help.
